| PART II: ARRIVING IN ITALY | |||
Congratulations! You have just touched down on Italian soil. The Marco Polo Venice Airport (VCE) is the first experience in Italy for all SBI students, since all students are required to have their final destination be VCE. Detailed arrival instructions are included in the INFORMATIONAL PACKET you receive three months before the beginning of your semester. A SBI staff person, most likely one of the resident assistants (RAs), will be there to greet you holding a blue sign reading "SBI". If you do not see anyone right away, don't panic; simply find a seat on the first floor and someone will be there to help you shortly. |

Numerous shuttles to the airport are arranged from VCE to the SBI Campus on arrival day as students typically do not all arrive on the same flight. Use this time to get to know the other students and your RA, or grab a cappuccino at the bar*. Hopefully, you brought your Pocket Italian Dictionary. *In Italy, small cafes that serve coffee are called 'bars' |
